The studios of Kumasi-based media outlet GhPage have been gutted by fire, with initial reports attributing the incident to an electrical fault caused by intermittent power outages. However, the situation has sparked controversy, as some followers of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah believe the fire was an act of divine intervention in response to the outlet’s persistent criticism of the religious leader.
According to a statement from GhPage’s management, the fire resulted in significant losses, destroying vital broadcasting equipment. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, though Emmanuel Rashad, Co-founder of GhPage, confirmed that one staff member sustained minor injuries.
The incident has fueled speculation among members of the Believers Worship Center, who claim that Prophet Adom Kyei Duah had previously invoked divine intervention against the platform due to what they perceive as unjust attacks on his ministry. They argue that the destruction of the studio is not a coincidence but a manifestation of the prophet’s spiritual power.
