Guinness lands Premier League Trophy to Ghana for an unforgettable Matchday Experience

Guinness, the Official Beer Partner of the English Premier League (PL), has made history by hosting the iconic Premier League Trophy in Ghana, marking a memorable occasion for football fans in the country.

This event, held on Sunday (16 March), 2025, reinforced the strong connection between Ghanaians and the world’s most-watched football league and Guinness’ long-standing commitment to football culture.

The Premier League trophy arrived in the Ghana on Friday, March 14, 2025. Ghana assistant coach John Paintsil and John Mensah were the special guests of honour at Friday’s presser which also featured officials of Guinness Ghana; Estella Muzito, Marketing Director and Sabina Manu, Marketing Manager.

The arrival of the Premier League Trophy was part of Guinness’ efforts to bring fans closer to the game they love, offering them a unique opportunity to experience the league’s prestige firsthand.

The event featured live viewing of the Premier League’s Week 29 fixtures, with fans treated to big-screen action, expert analysis from top football pundits, interactive moments, and exclusive photo opportunities with the iconic trophy.
