Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Amoakohene Joins Many To Mourns The Death of Mr. Asiamah’s Mother

The Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, together with the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), represented President John Dramani Mahama to mourn the passing of Mr. Asiamah’s mother.

In a statement shared on his social media pages, Dr. Frank Amoakohene noted that despite President John Dramani Mahama’s absence from the country, his thoughts and prayers were with Mr. Asiamah and his family during this difficult period. He highlighted Mr. Asiamah’s dedicated service to the President over the years, emphasising the deep bond between them.

The presence of high-ranking officials of the National Democratic Congress at the funeral underscores the strong camaraderie within the party and the appreciation for loyal service. The event also reflected the party’s tradition of supporting members in times of loss and mourning.

“Today, alongside my Regional Chairman, I represented H.E. the President, John Dramani Mahama at the funeral of the late mother of Mr. Asiamah, who has served the President with unwavering diligence and excellence over the years.

Though H.E. the President is out of the country, his thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Asiamah and his family during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences and stand in solidarity with them as they bid farewell to a beloved mother. May her soul rest in perfect peace.” He wrote on Facebook.

As Ghanaian cultural values place great emphasis on communal support during bereavement, President John Dramani Mahama’s representation at the funeral, through his trusted officials, reaffirmed the NDC’s commitment to unity and solidarity.

The late mother of Mr. Asiamah was laid to rest in solemn ceremony attended by family, friends, and well-wishers. The NDC delegation extended their deepest sympathies, praying for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.
