A popular Nigerian comedian and a skit maker, Ganiyu Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, during an interview with The Punch correspondent, shared the reasons he accused his estranged wife of infidelity and how their marriage deteriorated over time.
When he was narrating, he claimed that after his wife packed out his house, one of his estranged wife’s lovers contacted and said that he should go and look for money, and stop talking about him.
Ijoba Lande said he had the guy’s contact and it is a foreign number, but he already blocked him on Whatsapp, so that he would not be able to see his status.
Ijoba Lande went on to say that the man who took his wife had also threatened him. According to him, the man claimed that he never forgets and would harm anyone who wronged him. Lande explained that after discovering the man’s phone number on his device and confirming it matched the one shown to him by others, he decided to speak out to protect himself before anything bad happens to him.
“I did not know that my wife didn’t love me. She left because she realised that I was no longer rich like before. When she left, I had only N7,000 left in my bank account,” he added.
