Ghanaians Rate John Mahama’s Performance Two Months As President

Ghanaians have expressed their views on President John Mahama’s leadership after two months in office. On 7th January, 2025, John Dramani Mahama was sworn in as the President of Ghana. Today, 7th March, 2025, happens to be the exact two months in office.

Since assuming office, President Mahama has made several key decisions to improve the country. One of his major actions has been tackling corruption and recovering stolen state assets. The ORAL (Operation Recover All Loot) team has submitted its findings, and efforts are being made to retrieve money and properties lost through corrupt dealings. Many Ghanaians see this as a bold step toward accountability.

In the economy, Mahama’s government has introduced policies to stabilize the financial sector and improve revenue collection. He has focused on ensuring efficient use of state resources and cutting unnecessary spending. His administration is also working on attracting investment to create jobs and boost economic growth.

The education sector has not been left out, as the president has pledged to improve school infrastructure and enhance teacher welfare. Plans are in place to expand access to quality education and address challenges facing students and educators. Many Ghanaians are eager to see the impact of these initiatives.

Healthcare is another area receiving attention. The government has promised to improve medical facilities and ensure better service delivery in hospitals and clinics. Efforts are also being made to motivate health workers and provide them with the necessary resources to serve the people effectively.

Others have complained about the revocation of appointment letters of public sector workers who were employed after 7th December, 2025. According to report, some persons who even had their letters before 7th December, 2025 were sacked.

Here are some reactions from Ghanaians.
