Miss Malaika 2024 and GMB 2024 Winner Rock Matching Glamorous Kente Gowns

As Ghana celebrates its 68th Independence anniversary, two beauty queens are turning heads with their stunning photoshoot. Miss Malaika 2024 winner, Lucille Naakwaley King, and 2024 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) winner, Nihad Titiaka Ibrahim Oases, have captivated the public with their graceful and stylish looks in matching kente gowns.

Titiaka, the GMB winner, exuded elegance in a structured African print gown that beautifully covered her figure. Her look was completed with heavy makeup, a frontal lace wig, and a stylish African print turban, creating a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The gown, with its snatched waist and tulle design, highlighted her impeccable sense of style.

Sharing the photos on Instagram, Titiaka expressed her pride in Ghana’s independence and heritage, stating, “Today, we stand on the shoulders of giants, 68 years after our nation’s birth. Let’s salute the heroes who fought tirelessly for our freedom, and recommit to their dream of a united, prosperous, and proud Ghana.” She also mentioned how her outfit was inspired by the iconic architecture of Ghana’s National Theatre, adding, “This unique fabric captures the essence of our cultural heritage.”

Meanwhile, Lucille Naakwaley King, the winner of Miss Malaika 2024, also showcased her beauty and confidence in a corseted kente gown that accentuated her curves. Her look was elevated with bold makeup, long eyelashes, and gold accessories, including earrings and bangles. Lucille’s photoshoot radiated strength and elegance, perfectly embodying the spirit of Ghanaian women.

Lucille shared her thoughts on the photoshoot, saying, “Independence is more than freedom—it’s the power to express, create, and redefine. For this Independence look, we went 100% African-minimalistic yet bold, embodying the strength and resilience of the Ghanaian woman. The structured designs speak to our heritage and creativity.”
