Accra, Mar 04 , GNA – Some National Sports Federations will embark on a visit to the OlympAfrica project site at Amasaman on Saturday, March 8.
The visit aims to assess the progress of the facility, which recently had the first phase completed, featuring a basketball/volleyball court, a tennis court, and a standard football field with running tracks.
The project, being funded by OlympAfrica Foundation, seeks to provide young athletes with access to training facilities and also aid their development.
The Amasaman site is envisioned as a hub for talent development, offering opportunities for athletes across various disciplines to train and compete at an elite level.
During the visit, representatives from national sports federations and key development partners would inspect the ongoing construction and discuss strategies to ensure the facility’s prompt completion and effective utilisation.
The OlympAfrica project is a significant step towards nurturing young talents and providing them with the necessary infrastructure to succeed.
