Actress Martha Ankomah has refuted reports suggesting that a court has mandated actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, to pay a GH₵300,000 fine.

In a recent interview on Nhyira FM that surfaced on Instagram Martha clarified that such claims are unfounded.

According to her, her primary objective is not financial compensation but a public apology and coverage of her legal expenses. She stated, “I don’t want a dime from him. I just want him to do the right thing so that people will know that you can’t just do things and get away with it in this country.”

She further explained that during their court appearance, the judge instructed Lil Win to draft a proper apology and present it at their next hearing on April 1, 2025. She noted that if the court finds the apology satisfactory, Lil Win would then issue a public apology. She added that his previous apology lacked sincerity and did not demonstrate genuine remorse.

The dispute originated from a video in which Lil Win allegedly made derogatory comments about Martha Ankomah. Believing these remarks harmed her reputation, Martha rejected Lil Win’s initial public apology in December 2024 and pursued legal action instead. She emphasized that it’s unacceptable for public figures to make unfounded allegations without facing consequences.
