Government holds day two of National Economic Dialogue

The 2025 National Economic Dialogue has entered its second day at the Accra International Conference Centre, bringing together economic experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss Ghana’s economic future.

President John Dramani Mahama, the Guest of Honor on Tuesday, March 3, 2025, delivered a keynote speech on the theme, “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”

Day two of the forum continues to address Ghana’s pressing economic challenges and explores strategies to foster sustainable economic growth.

Discussions will focus on, macroeconomic stability and policies to curb inflation, economic transformation and industrialisation strategies, private sector growth as a catalyst for job creation and other key economic reforms aimed at long-term stability.

On the final day of the event, Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is expected to deliver an address.

The National Economic Dialogue aims to generate actionable solutions to place Ghana on a stable economic trajectory.

Key recommendations from the discussions will inform government policies in the coming months.
