Entertainment pundit, Ola Michael
Media personality Ola Michael has advised radio broadcaster and Okomfour Kwadee’s former manager, Hammer Nti to step back from managing the affairs of Kwadee.
According to him, the artiste’s family should take primary responsibility for his well-being.
Ola Michael said this on the March 1, 2025, episode of UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’, after Okomfour Kwadee’s mother denied allegations that she is responsible for her son’s mental health issues, claiming that these claims were spread by Hammer Nti.
In his submission, Ola Michael remarked, “You cannot love someone more than the person who gave birth to him.”
He further advised Hammer Nti to “leave him alone for his family,” suggesting that unless there are undisclosed reasons for Hammer’s continued involvement, Kwadee’s care should be entrusted to his relatives.
“All I can do is plead that Hammer stops trying to control Kwadee. Yes, he is sick, but he’s not a child.
“Leave him alone for his family. Unless there is something going on that we don’t know. Which is why Hammer is persistent in taking care of Okomfour Kwadee,” he said.
This commentary comes amid growing concerns about Okomfour Kwadee’s health. Videos circulating on social media depicted the artiste in a languished state, raising alarms among fans and industry stakeholders.
Okomfour Kwadee, born Jerry Anaba, has faced mental health challenges over the years, including battles with substance abuse.
Despite multiple rehabilitation efforts, his condition has fluctuated, leading to public concern about his well-being.
