Ghanaian musician and medical professional, S3nti
Ghanaian musician and medical professional S3nti has opened up about how her dual careers often collide, sometimes in unexpected ways.
S3nti recounted an amusing encounter with a patient who recognized her at the hospital.
“There was one time I was at the medical emergency unit, and someone walked up to me, saying, ‘I know you! I was on your Instagram Live yesterday!’” she recalled in an interview on Hitz FM monitored by MyNewsGh.
According to her, such moments make her realize that her music is gaining traction.
“It actually makes me happy. It means people are noticing me,” she said.
S3nti also shared that her music blends multiple influences, which she describes as Afro-Fusion.
“I don’t want to be confined to one genre. I’ve been exposed to different sounds like Soul, R&B, and Highlife, so I mix them together,” she explained.
On how she finds time to record music, S3nti revealed that she often works at night or at dawn.
“I don’t sleep. Sometimes my shows end at 2 a.m. or 3 a.m., and I still have to go to work. But I love what I do, so I make it work,” he said.
