In a continued effort to bolster technical and vocational education in the Eastern Region, the management and staff of the Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly, together with the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Dr. Kingsley Agyemang have presented new technical and vocational equipment to Kibi Technical School (KITECH).
This significant donation underscores the Assembly’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of education, particularly in the technical and vocational sectors.
Dr. Agyemang noted that the gesture is part of efforts to ensure that students excel in the TVET field.
“By providing KITECH with the necessary tools and resources, we aim to improve the practical training experiences of students, equipping them with the skills and expertise to excel in their respective fields. This gesture is part of our wider strategy to elevate technical and vocational education in the municipality,” said Dr. Agyemang, highlighting the importance of hands-on learning in preparing students for the workforce.
He further emphasised that the donation would help bridge the gap between theory and practice.
“The presentation of these resources is expected to have a substantial impact on students’ education, helping them gain practical experience that will be crucial for their future careers. The equipment will assist in bridging the gap between theory and practice, providing a solid foundation for the students’ professional development,” he added.
With this initiative, the Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly reiterates its commitment to supporting educational institutions and fostering a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of today’s rapidly evolving job market.
