If I Have $5m, Why Will I Go to U.S.A? Ghanaians React to Donald Trump’s Announcement of Selling Green Card for $5m

Ghanaian social media users have reacted to a new policy from U.S. President, Donald Trump, announcing a new program to sell green cards for $5m.

According to Ghanaian netizens, if they had $5m in the first place, they wouldn’t be in a rush to go to the United States!

President Trump since coming into office has been working hard to reduce immigration into the country.

He has unleashed the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency on illegal immigrants, arresting many and deporting them back to their countries.

These operations stoked fear in many illegal immigrants in the U.S. including some prominent Ghanaian social media personalities.

Despite his attempts to reduce immigraiton, Trump has now announced that he is introducing a new way to immigrate to the country so long as you have money to buy.

He announced the introduction of a new gold card that foreigners can buy for $5m and receive the benefits of a green card.
