Outspoken media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has stated that he spent more than five hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢ 500,000) to renovate his new studio, For the Records.

According to the broadcast journalist, after his exit from Angel FM, some people speculated that he was broke and struggling. However, he dismissed these rumors and asserted that he was financially stable.

“I was among the highest-paid staff at Angel FM, but after leaving, I have no regrets, and I am not hungry. I am not bragging, but I used more than GH¢500,000 cedis to renovate this place,” he said.

Speaking on the maiden edition of his For the Records show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah questioned the necessity of the fact-finding committee established by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to investigate the cause of its embarrassment in the 2024 elections.

He blamed former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the party’s defeat.
