Ace broadcast journalist Nana Aba Anamoah has set the record straight, stating that she has never been asked for sexual favours in exchange for career opportunities.
Speaking to Empress Gifty Adorye on United Showbiz, she dismissed rumours suggesting otherwise and emphasised that her success is built on hard work and dedication.
The Award-winning broadcast journalist further disclosed that she launched her “Women of Valour” talk show to provide a platform for women to share their experiences and empower others. She explained that many young women confide in her about being pressured into sexual favours for jobs, but she often finds it difficult to advise them since she has never encountered such a situation herself.
She added that the platform offers these women to share their experiences and also offer advice to those who are also going through similar challenges.
Over the years, Nana Aba has been the subject of baseless allegations, including claims that she pimps young women who seek her mentorship to influential men in exchange for money. Despite repeatedly denying these accusations, some people continue to associate her name with such rumours.
Nonetheless, Nana Aba remains committed to uplifting women and using her platform to foster meaningful conversations about career growth, empowerment, and integrity. She encourages young women to speak up, seek mentorship, and refuse to compromise their dignity for professional opportunities.
