Former SIC Insurance Company Limited managing director Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has withdrawn her lawsuit against President John Mahama for firing her. JoyBusiness reports that this judgment follows an important conference between the primary disputing parties earlier today, February 6, 2025. Sources claim that an out-of-court settlement has been reached.Furthermore, Yentumi has withdrawn her lawsuit challenging James Agyenim-Boateng’s nomination as the new managing director of SIC Insurance.The previous MD initially sued the company and its newly appointed Acting MD, citing unfair termination and a lack of respect for corporate governance procedures. In her complaint filed on February 4, Duah-Yentumi asserted that her appointment was legally assured for a four-year term ending on January 1.
