The National Service Authority (NSA) in a press statement on Wednesday (5 February 2025) has announced a complete transition to a cashless payment system through GHANA.GOV, aligning with the government’s modernisation efforts in revenue collection.
Effective immediately, all user agencies and stakeholders must make payments, including the 20 percent and 10 percent administrative charges through the digital platform.
This initiative aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for all parties involved. Payments can be made 24/7 via www.ghana.gov.gh or by dialing *222# on mobile networks.
Additionally, payments can be initiated through personnel dashboards or via invoices sent to HR or Finance representatives.
GHANA.GOV offers multiple seamless payment options, including debit and credit cards, mobile money, online banking, QR code payments, direct transfers, SWIFT, and ACH transfers.
NSA strictly prohibits manual payments to staff at district, regional, or headquarters offices.
Stakeholders are encouraged to embrace this system to streamline processes and support Ghana’s cashless economy vision.Â
