Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has announced his intention to contest again in the 2028 parliamentary elections.
Speaking in an interview on the Minority Chief Whip emphasized that his decision to run was not driven by greed but by a desire to serve and leverage his experience for the benefit of his constituents.
“I will contest again in 2028. It’s not because I am greedy, but because I believe my experience in Parliament is valuable,” he said.
According to him, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is going through a difficult period, and experienced lawmakers like himself must help rebuild and refocus the party.
“This is a difficult time for the party, and with the experience I have gathered in my four terms, we need to focus on what didn’t go well and do better next time,” he stated.
Annoh-Dompreh expressed confidence that his constituents still support him, noting that he has unfinished business in Nsawam-Adoagyiri.
“I am confident the people of Nsawam-Adoagyiri still love me as their MP. I believe the love is deep, and I am ready to continue working for them,” he added.
