The Ghana Police Service has assigned a psychologist to provide counseling services to the wife and children of the late Kotoko Football Club fan, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, made this known during his visit to the deceased’s relatives in Kumasi.
He assured them that the police are investigating the incident and will ensure justice for the deceased.
Yaw Frimpong died after he was allegedly stabbed at a match between his team and Nsoatreman Football Club.
The IGP led a team of investigators and high-ranking officers of the Ghana Police Service to console the deceased’s relatives and to assure them of the police’s commitment to investigate and ensure justice in the matter.
