The owner of Nsoatreman Football Club, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, and two other individuals have been granted bail while investigations continue into the violence that rocked the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko that resulted in the death of Kotoko fan Yaw Frimpong also known as Pooley.

According to 3Sports, Awuah, along with a policeman bodyguard and another team official were released by the police following a court hearing on 4, 2025.

The three individuals are expected to reappear in court on February 17, 2025, for the continuation of the case.

Earlier, the police stated that Awuah, with two other suspects, Agyemang Duah Owusu, owner of Nsoatreman, and team official Kyeremeh Joseph were to assist with investigations.

A search of Agyemang Duah Owusu’s residence uncovered two dresses with suspected bloodstains and an MP 23 pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition, intensifying the probe into the deadly altercation.
