Barely two months into the year 2025, the world has witnessed a series of devastating plane crashes, resulting in the loss of dozens of lives.
These tragic incidents come after Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche, founder of Reign House Chapel International, prophesied on December 31, 2024, that multiple crashes would occur in the new year.
During his prophecy session, Prophet Boahen-Uche warned of an increase in plane crashes and urged his church members and travelers to engage in intense prayers for protection.
“2025, I see a lot of plane crashes. So, if you are going to board a plane, soak yourself in the blood of Jesus,” the prophet declared.
He further cautioned that all travelers should seek divine protection to avert impending dangers.
Unfortunately, since the beginning of 2025, multiple plane crashes have been reported worldwide, confirming the prophet’s grim vision.
Here is some tragic air disasters recorded in 2025
1. Philadelphia Medevac Crash: A medical transport plane crashed soon after takeoff in Philadelphia on Friday, carrying a child and five others.
The aircraft, operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, was on a medical transport mission. There has been no confirmation of survivors.
2. American Eagle Flight 5342 Disaster: A horrific midair collision occurred near Reagan Washington National Airport, involving American Eagle Flight 5342 from Wichita, Kansas, and an Army helicopter.
The commercial aircraft had 60 passengers and four crew members, while the helicopter carried three people. Both aircraft plunged into the Potomac River, leading to a catastrophic rescue and recovery operation. Dozens of bodies have been retrieved so far.
3. Washington D.C. Collision: A midair collision between a helicopter and a passenger plane in Washington D.C. resulted in 67 fatalities, making it the nation’s deadliest air disaster since 2001.
4. South Sudan Plane Crash: In another tragic incident, a plane crash in South Sudan claimed 20 lives, with only one survivor.
