The Ghanaian community in the UK is set to mark Ghana’s 68th Independence anniversary with a vibrant Arts & Crafts Exhibition from March 6 to 9, 2025. The event will showcase Ghana’s rich artistic traditions, featuring leather works, paintings, Kente weaving, and cultural performances.
The exhibition will begin at the Lighthouse Theater on March 6 and 7, running from 6 PM to 10 PM, with an entry fee of £20. The celebration continues with the much-anticipated Ghana Independence Concert at Indigo O2 on March 8, promising an electrifying night of music and cultural performances. The event will conclude on March 9 at Browdwater Farm Community Center, featuring another arts and crafts showcase from 6 PM to 10 PM, also at £20 per entry.
With a lineup of talented artisans and performers, the exhibition aims to promote Ghana’s creative industries while fostering cultural exchange within the diaspora. Attendees can expect live craft demonstrations, drumming, dance performances, and an immersive cultural experience
