Edmund Opoku-Agyemang, a brilliant lawyer and professor, is best known as the devoted spouse of Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. While he has a modest public presence, his services to the legal and educational sectors demonstrate his significant impact on Ghana’s progress.Edmund, a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana’s Faculty of Law, is essential in creating the next generation of lawyers. Edmund has been married to Dr. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for over 30 years and has been a faithful companion in her pioneering career, including her historic tenure as the first female Vice-Chancellor of a public university in Ghana and her present position as Vice President.
