Supreme Court adjourns indefinitely NDC’s suite challenging High Court decision

The Supreme Court has adjourned indefinitely a case filed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) challenging a High Court ruling that directed the Electoral Commission (EC) to complete and declare parliamentary election results in four constituencies.

The High Court, led by Justice Forson Baah Agyapong, issued the ruling on January 4, 2025, granted an application by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), ordering the EC to finalise the collation of results in Okaikwei Central, Tema Central, Techiman South, and Ablekuma North constituencies.
