Dr. Randy Anertey Abbey, Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Cocoa Board
The rank and file of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dadekotopon Constituency have expressed excitement over the appointment of Dr. Randy Anertey Abbey as the Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
“Dr. Abbey has been one of the most reliable sources of support for party activities whenever the constituency calls on him,” said Dzifa Gunu, the Constituency Secretary in a statement.
The leadership of the Dadekotopon Constituency expressed confidence in Dr. Abbey’s ability to transform the fortunes of the Ghana Cocoa Board, describing him as a source of pride for the constituency.
“We in Dadekotopon pride ourselves on his membership of the constituency and look forward to him steering the affairs of the struggling golden bean organization back to its roots for the economic growth of the country,” the statement added.
The constituency also extended gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for recognizing Dr. Abbey’s capabilities and honouring the constituency with this appointment.
“On behalf of the Member of Parliament, the Constituency Chairman, the entire constituency executives, branch executives, and the grassroots of the NDC in Dadekotopon, we say a big congratulations to Dr. Abbey. We wish him success in his new role.”
