Asante Kotoko have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of Michael Sefah from lower-tier side Port City FC.
The two clubs finalized the transfer agreement on Wednesday, January 22, following successful negotiations.
Port City confirmed the deal on their social media platforms, announcing that the towering center-back has been granted permission to complete the necessary formalities to officially join the Porcupine Warriors.
Sefah becomes the latest addition to Kotoko’s January transfer window recruits, joining Sampson Eduku, Kwame Opoku, Kwasi Asante, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, and Isaac Mintah.
The signing underscores Kotoko’s intent to strengthen their squad as they aim to contend for top honors in the Ghana Premier League.
