The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has delivered his final new year message to Ghanaians.
Speaking to Ghanaians in a video recorded and shared on his Facebook page, 31st December, 2024, he said “this new year message, is deeply personal to me as it is my last, us your president.
“Serving you, has been the greatest honor of my life. I stand before you not just as a leader, but as a fellow Ghanaian, humbled by the trust you have placed in me.” Nana Addo said.
“The years that I have been able to lead, we’ve laid foundations for Ghana that is strong united and full of opportunities. The Free Senior High School policy has given hope to millions of young Ghanaians and their families. We’ve seen our health care system strengthened, our road systems expanded.” He added.
“As we step into 2025, I encourage us all, to hold on to the hope.That has carried us this far. This is a time for new dreams and renew commitments. Let us make use of the opportunities that are before us, driven by the believe that our best days are still ahead.” The outgoing president continued.
The president of Ghana ended his new year message by saying, ” May 2025, bring our families joy, peace and abundant blessings. May our homes be filled with laughter and our communities with unity and our nation with prosperity.”
