Renowned Ghanaian journalist Kelvin Taylor has sparked a heated conversation with his latest allegations against Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the prominent businessman and owner of Angel TV. According to Taylor, Kwaku Oteng is allegedly involved in relationships with young women, some as young as 20, raising serious moral and societal concerns.
During a recent episode of his show, Kelvin Taylor did not hold back his frustration. “Kwaku Oteng, you are in Ghana and sleeping with girls that you can even give birth to. I don’t want to put this girl’s picture on screen for people to see her, but she is also a bad girl. This is the girl’s picture, and she is only 21 years old and sleeping with someone who is old enough to be her father,” Taylor alleged.
Taylor’s accusations went further, claiming he could name at least ten young women under the age of 25 allegedly involved with the business mogul. He suggested that such relationships contribute to a culture of disrespect among the younger generation.
“As a result of this, they do not respect anyone. This is the reason why Okatakyie Afrifa, that dirty boy who doesn’t respect, sits on radio and insults people, and [Kwaku Oteng] doesn’t care to sanction him. An elderly person like Kwaku Oteng will not allow the young girls to grow,” Taylor remarked passionately.
The journalist tied his allegations to what he described as a broader societal problem, where influential figures fail to uphold moral standards. He argued that these actions ripple into Ghanaian society, affecting the behavior and values of younger generations.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng, known for his successful ventures in media and healthcare, has yet to publicly respond to the allegations. His silence has fueled discussions on social media, with opinions sharply divided. Some have called for a thorough investigation to substantiate the claims, while others view Taylor’s comments as unnecessarily harsh and potentially damaging.
In Ghana, where societal values and traditions are highly regarded, such allegations carry significant weight. Many hope this discourse prompts reflection on the role of public figures in setting moral examples for the youth.
As the debate continues, all eyes remain on Kwaku Oteng and whether he will address the accusations or let the storm pass.
