Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Joe Mettle has expressed concern regarding the state of aeroplanes assigned to Ghana from other countries.
The 2017 VGMA Artiste of The Year described this as something that bothered him and shared this concern based on observations he made during his travels to many countries.
“I’ve had the privilege to travel a bit and realised that most of the planes that come to Ghana are not the best at all compared to the ones that go to other African countries why is that?” he quizzed.
The renowned minister added that other countries with a short distance to the destination period are given better aircraft than Ghana.
He hinted that these aeroplanes are assigned to Ghana with tickets that are costly but are not in a good state. “And many times, the flight distance is even way shorter, and they still give them better planes. Is it because we take anything they give us and do not insist on being given better ones?” he wondered.
