NDC government to Prioritise abandoned projects initiated by party

By Muyid Deen Suleman

Kumasi, Dec. 1, GNA – Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has affirmed that all neglected projects commenced during the previous NDC administration will be prioritised and completed by the next NDC administration.

He expressed dismay at the disregard shown towards numerous development initiatives by the current NPP government, emphasising the urgent need to rectify this issue promptly.

At a rally in Kumasi after a massive walk on Sunday, Mr. Mahama reassured party supporters that all uncompleted projects would be finished for the betterment of the nation.

Pointing out the deceptive nature of last-minute projects initiated by the NPP, Mr. Mahama said it was a ploy to mislead the electorate.

He emphasised the NDC’s dedication to abolishing the E-Levy and other oppressive taxes burdening the populace.

Particularly critical of the Ashanti Region’s lack of progress under the NPP’s governance, he urged the region’s inhabitants to unite behind the NDC for enhanced representation and advancement.

Mr. Mahama criticized the economic turmoil instigated by the NPP’s policies, attributing it to a calculated exploitation of Ghana’s resources.

He expressed confidence in the Ashanti Region’s backing of the NDC, anticipating a substantial voter turnout in favor of the party.

He entreated NDC agents to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to deceitful tactics during the electoral process.

Mr. Mahama underscored the need for an increase in parliamentary seats in the Ashanti Region to facilitate smoother policy implementation and urged the thousands of supporter present to work hard to achieve that target.

He reiterated the significance of unity and vigilance among party members to secure a triumphant outcome for the NDC.
