According to a report . Despite some worries regarding the condition of the Kumawood film business, Vivian Jill, a well-known actress and producer, has assured her admirers that the sector is far from dead. Vivian discussed the persistent issues facing the film industry in a recent interview that went viral, specifically the trouble of scheduling top actors because of their hectic personal obligations.
Vivian claims that although films are still being made, the main issue facing the industry is the availability of important performers. She clarified that it has grown more difficult to get well-known performers to participate because many of them are working on other projects. “Everyone is busy right now. I’m preparing to embark on a new project myself. Everyone is busy if you phone them. I attempted to contact Nana Ama McBrown on a project I was working on recently, but she was preoccupied with something else. Mathilda was also on site when I called her. “She told me she couldn’t make it because she was also on set last week when I needed another actress,” Vivian said.
Notwithstanding these obstacles, Vivian pointed out that the performers’ hectic schedules are the only reason why well-known figures in the industry aren’t working together, not any problems with Kumawood. “Neither the industry nor Kumawood are inherently flawed. “Everyone is simply busy,” she explained.
With preparations for a significant project that would unite top stars like Agya Koo and Lil Win, Vivian also voiced optimism about the future of the Kumawood business. Even if there may be sporadic setbacks in collaboration, she thinks that the success of such projects will demonstrate that Kumawood is still thriving. “All that needs to be done is gather everyone at once. However, we’ll undoubtedly be taking a significant step to demonstrate that Kumawood is still alive and well,” she continued with assurance.
Her comments coincide with worries that the Kumawood film industry is in decline, which some have attributed to lack of support, economic difficulties, and even witchcraft rumors. According to Vivian Jill, despite these concerns, Kumawood’s future is still bright because of the outstanding performers and filmmakers’ unwavering dedication and love.
