The Ghana Police Service has announced the successful resolution of an incident involving a broken seal on one electoral material bag in Koforidua, intended for distribution to a constituency in the Eastern Region.
Upon removal from the armoury, it was discovered that the seal on one of the bags was broken. Investigations revealed that the seal had come off during the packing and unpacking process.
The Electoral Commission, along with political party representatives, has confirmed that the contents of the bag remain intact and no tampering occurred.
The incident has been thoroughly addressed and stakeholders are assured of the integrity of the materials.
