The Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Bossman Asare, has revealed that the Commission maintains a strong relationship with all political parties, including the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In an interview with TV3, Dr. Asare acknowledged that while the opposition has been critical of the Commission, he underscored the Commission’s responsibility to foster a conducive environment for all political entities.

“I can assert without hesitation that the Electoral Commission enjoys a very strong relationship with political parties, including the principal opposition party,” Dr. Asare remarked.

He reiterated that the Commission has established a productive working relationship with all political parties.

Dr. Asare noted that representatives from all political parties have consistently attended the meetings organized by the Commission to discuss the electoral process and ballot procedures.

He expressed confidence that, given the positive rapport between the Commission and the political parties, the forthcoming elections will be conducted in a free and fair manner.

Furthermore, Dr. Asare stated his belief that the will of the people will be accurately represented across all constituencies.
