A joint task force, comprising officials from the Forestry Commission and the Ankasa Conservation Area, has disrupted the illegal trade of endangered species in the Wassa West District of the Western Region.
The operation, conducted at Bogoso market, aimed to enforce Ghana’s Wildlife Resource Management Act 1115 (2023), educate traders on conservation practices, and issue licenses to those trading in bush meat legally.
