Head of the University of Ghana Sports Directorate, Dr. Austin Luguterah, believes that the future of sports and education in Ghana, particularly among the nation’s youth, has great potential.
He said this in his speech he delivered at the 25th Year Anniversary Celebrations of football institution Right To Dream.
The aforementioned institution’s famed football academy has produced international stars like Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United, Ernest Nuamah of Olympique Lyon and Ibrahim Osman of Feyenoord.
Dr. Luguterah went on to praise Right To Dream for the tremendous work it has done in this regard while calling on sports stakeholders to replicate the institution’s model “to empower dreams”.
“The future of sports and education in Ghana holds great potential for transformation provided the country leverages its abundant talent, resources and youthful population. Right To Dream has been a trailblazer in this regard…modern sports has moved just from playing on our pitches, we have to now see sports as a tool to influence the society.”
The landmark event was headlined by CEO of Right To Dream Academy Ghana , Alex Asiedu.
