Anlo NDC to climax campaign activities with “victory walk”

Anloga, (V/R), Nov. 26, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch in the Anlo Constituency of the Volta Region, is set to host a mammoth health walk as part of activities to climax their campaign activities in the Constituency. 

The walk, dubbed “Victory Walk,” would take place on Saturday, at Anloga under the auspices of the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Richard Kwame Sefe.  

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr Rolex Agbey Miheso, the NDC Chairman, highlighted the importance of the walk to the party, to rally its members towards the general elections and to preach peace to the electorate. 

“This is not just a walk, but a platform where we will preach peace to our members present advising them against engaging in any acts of violence to distort the peace we are enjoying, after all, we shall come back and live as one people after the Saturday elections,” he said. 

The procession would be divided into two groups with one batch starting from Woe-Dekumorto through Avume, Dornorgbor to the Hogbe Park, while the others would take the route from Mai-Victory through Setsinu, Lashibi and climax at the same park. 

Mr Shugah Mawuli Anthonio, the Anlo NDC Constituency Communications Director, called on all Party faithful across the locality and beyond to participate in the walk.  

“Every party member across the constituency is encouraged to partake in this important walk as a way of showing our readiness to take back power. This is where we shall hear the last message our candidate Mr Richard Sefe has for us, you must come in their party colours,” he said. 

Mr Anthonio said there would be lots of activities at the climax including games, performances and solidarity speeches from other Members of Parliament from other constituencies of the Region. 

Mr Rolex assured participants of their utmost safety throughout the walk and at the climax activities.
