In a jaw-dropping political twist, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, left Ghanaians scratching their heads and laughing when he openly urged voters to back former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections. Yes, you read that right—Napo, the running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket, is out here hyping up the opposition like it’s some bizarre friendship pact.
During a campaign stop to rally support for himself and the NPP, Napo did the unimaginable. Holding the hand of Mr. Robbert, the NPP candidate for the area, he looked the crowd in the eye and declared, “Support both Robbert and Mahama!”
