Send Him to Lebanon to Do Peacekeeping – Social Media Slams Army Chief Who Vowed to ‘Beat’ Ghanaians on December 7th

Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Jacob Codjoe, the Commanding Officer of Achiase Jungle Warfare Training School, has warned that if they’re called in to the keep the peace on December 7th, they will ‘beat’ any Ghanaian who tries them.

Speaking in a video that has gone viral, Lt.Col Cudjoe said he and his men are eagerly awaiting anyone who wants to try them during the elections.

He said any person who tries to disrupt the elections will face consequences in the form of severe beatings from his and his men.

His comments sparked reactions from angry social media users who called for him to be sent to Lebanon to fight a real war and not target civilians to ‘beat’.

“Send him to Lebanon to keep the peace there,” one user wrote.

Others wondered when it became the military’s job to keep the peace within the country.

“Since when did that become the work of the military?,” another user asked.
