Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Edward Omane Boamah, has assured of a robust monitoring plan for the deployment of election materials ahead of December 7.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Boamah expressed the readiness of the NDC to ensure a transparent and fair electoral process.
This comes after the Electoral Commission (EC) started the distribution of electoral materials.
He acknowledged that this phase of the electoral process was important, and the NDC’s effective monitoring is key to checking potential irregularities.
To effectively achieve this, he revealed that the NDC’s monitoring teams have been equipped with simple yet effective detection tools.
These tools, he explained, are designed to assist in tracking and verifying the deployment of election materials, ensuring that the process aligns with expected standards of fairness and transparency.
He encouraged NDC faithful to be united to achieve a credible election outcome that reflects the will of the Ghanaian people.
“We admit that as election day draws closer, the action gets closer and closer to you all in the regions, constituencies, and the polling stations.”
“This being the case, we trust that our hard-working EAGLEEYES teams across the country, empowered with the necessary ‘simple’ detection tools, will make us proud as we coordinate from headquarters,” he wrote.
