Judge Nabeela Naeema Wahab Sahiba’s Background
Judge Nabeela is a legal expert who has served in the Attorney-General’s office since 2008, progressing from Assistant State Attorney to Principal State Attorney.
She holds an LLM degree, with a dissertation on maritime boundary disputes and oil exploration between Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
Her career reflects over 13 years of legal practice with proven integrity and a commitment to justice.
Her journey to the bench began in July 2021 when she applied for a High Court judgeship.
After rigorous interviews involving Supreme Court justices and other top officials, she received her appointment in July 2022.
She was sworn in alongside nine other judges, marking a milestone in her career.
Family and Personal Life
Nabeela comes from a respected family. She is the daughter of Alhaj Dr. Abdul Wahab Adam, the former Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana.
She is also an active member of the Ahmadiyya community, serving as the General Secretary of Lajna Imaillah Ghana, the women’s wing of the mission.
