Ghana Premier League giants, Asate Kotoko has reportedly parted ways with Prosper Narteh Ogum as their head coach after a year in the dugout, according to Accra-based Mothers FM/Tv.
Coach Ogum’s exit follows the team’s abysmal performance in the ongoing campaign, having failed to win their last 5 games (one defeat and 4 straight defeats).
With 11 games played, they have picked up 15 points and find themselves 8th on the league table.
Matters worsened over the weekend when they suffered a disappointing defeat against Nations. They suffered a 2-0 loss at the their own backyard.

As the process to find a new head coach will begin immediately, details regarding the interim coaching staff will be announced in the coming days.
Prosper Ogum returned to the club prior to the start of the of the 2023/24 season.
During his first tenure, Dr. Ogum, led the club to their first Ghana Premier League title since the 2013/14 season.
With an impressive record of 67 points from 34 games, his coaching prowess guided the Porcupine Warriors to victory over Medeama for the league title.
