Renowned Ghanaian researcher Paul Boateng has predicted the outcome of the 2024 elections based on his recent polls.
In an interview with Vhim Lady on Okay FM’s ‘Egyasogyaso’ show, Paul Boateng confidently stated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to win the 2024 presidential election with 50.6% of the votes. He added that former President John Dramani Mahama is projected to secure 47.8% of the votes. Additionally, he predicted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would win 142 parliamentary seats, while the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would secure 131 seats.
However, Paul Boateng emphasized that these poll results could change, as both political parties are implementing new strategies to win the elections. He noted that, currently, almost all the political parties are focusing their campaign efforts in the Ashanti Region, recognizing its pivotal role in determining the election’s outcome.
“During the elections, Bawumia is expected to receive 50.6% of the votes, while Mahama will get 47.8%. The number of rejected ballots will surpass the votes received by candidates like Alan Kyerematen, Nana Kwame Bediako, and others. As for the parliamentary seats, NPP is projected to win 142 seats, while NDC is likely to secure 131 seats for now. It’s important to note that these results could change based on the strategies political parties adopt from now until December 7th. All the political parties are currently in the Ashanti Region because they recognize that the region will play a crucial role in deciding the election’s winner,” he explained.
