Natalie Fort, a journalist with Accra-based GHone TV, has expressed worry about the campaign activities of Professor Jane Nanaa Opoku-Agyeman, the running mate to John Dramani Mahama.
The presidential and parliamentary elections are just over thirty days away and the NDC vice presidential candidate is expected to intensify her campaign efforts to sway voters to cast their ballot in favour of Former President John Dramani Mahama.
But she appears to have instead, taken her leg from the accelerator, raising concern about what she brings to the table.
Unimpressed about the recent seeming disappearance of Prof. Jane Nanaa Opoku-Agyeman from the political landscape, Natalie Fort took to her verified Facebook page to express her concern.
According to Fort, she has noticed that the NDC running mate hardly appears in the political space, a situation which does not inure to the benefit of the party.
“Is it just me, or have we not been hearing much from the Running Mate of NDC Flagbearer, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang?” She quizzed on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Elikim Kotoko, the Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, took to the comments section of Natalie Fort to explain that Professor Nanaa Opoku-Agyeman has been on the ground directly connecting and identifying herself with the voters, adding that she does not necessarily have to be in the media space to add value to Mr Mahama’s campaign.
“She is on the grounds touching base with all who matter, she isn’t necessarily in the media so much, as she is working so hard for her principal. She is identifying with them”, he commented.
