Tamale International Airport will be used to export food from northern Ghana – Alan

Founder and Leader of Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has emphasized his commitment to make the five regions of the north the food basket of West Africa.

He said this during a visit to the Paramount Chief of Tamale, Gulkpe Na Alhassan Abdulai on November 6.

“The Northern region produces a lot of food crops annually, but they don’t get value for what they produce. I will ensure that we make good use of the Tamale International Airport to boost our foreign exports. My government will also establish more factories to process food items produced locally,” he assured

On job creation, Mr Kyerematen stressed that no child in Ghana will leave school without getting a job.

“People complete school and don’t have jobs which is a pity for us as a country. I will ensure that every child who leaves school will not be unemployed “

The Paramount Chief of Tamale, Gulkpe Na Alhassan Abdulai assured him of his support.

The Movement for Change team will tour the region for the next four days.
