Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste Dennis Affram, popularly known in the music scene as Osagyefo, is gearing up for an exciting birthday celebration with a live band reggae concert on Saturday, November 9 for his fans.
The highly-anticipated event will take place at the Gold Coast Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, from 8 pm until midnight.
On the bill is an array of performers, including 2009 TGMA Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Chizzy Wailer; Ras Boomba, veteran Fred Kente of Kente fame; the versatile Kojo Kombolo, dancehall queen Aklerh; 2022 TGMA Nominee, Konkarah Jahvybz; and Nana Ntow the Bombadier.
Special guests scheduled to grace the occasion include veteran reggae and dancehall presenter Black Santino; Daddy Bosco, Director of Communications and Special Projects for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and Star Brown from African Star Sound System.
The award-winning host of Yaad Settingz on Asaase Radio, King Lagazee and Lion Judah will co-host the show.
A number of radio presenters as well as DJs will be there to thrill invited guests with good tunes, there will also be a lot to eat and drink and quality Ghanaian music to meet the demands of all invited guests.
According to Osagyefo, entry to the concert will be free, as a way of thanking his fans for their support through the years.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming celebration, Osagyefo noted, “I am incredibly excited to celebrate my birthday with all my fans and fellow musicians. This concert is a chance for us to unite through the power of reggae music. I look forward to an unforgettable night!”
