“The Way This Lady Showed Me Pleasure” – Accused Shares Encounter in JB Danquah-Adu Trial

Daniel Asiedu, widely known as “Sexy Don Don,” shared vivid details of his alleged interactions with a sex worker during his trial for the murder of former Abuakwa North Member of Parliament (MP) Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu as reported by Ghana Web on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Asiedu, standing trial at the Accra High Court, recounted events of the night that led him to seek out the company of a woman he met at the Konkonsa Bar in Agbogbloshie.

According to Asiedu, his initial encounter with the woman left him wanting more.

After leaving her home around 2:00 a.m., he returned to the bar to refuel with energy drinks before visiting her again at 4:00 a.m. to continue their interactions.

“My lady, whenever I feel like making out, I do go to Vienna City at Madina to do so. But the way this lady showed me pleasure on that night made me go back after I went to the beer bar at 2:00 a.m. to have more drinks,” Asiedu recounted to the court.

Asiedu’s testimony followed the prosecution’s case, led by Principal State Attorney Sefakor Batse, which was presented earlier.

Now defending himself, Asiedu aims to provide his account of the events surrounding the MP’s death on February 8, 2016. He maintains that his connection with the woman influenced his decisions that evening.

The trial, presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, has been ongoing, with Asiedu also facing a robbery charge.

His co-accused, Vincent Bossu, was acquitted of conspiracy and subsequently freed. The recent jury strike had delayed proceedings, but Asiedu returned to the stand on November 4 to resume testimony.

Revealing further insights about his actions, Asiedu reflected on his conversations with the woman.

“While drinking, I reflected on the way we had pleasure and the conversations we had, and that made me go back to her,” he told the jury through a Twi interpreter.
