Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician Stonebwoy has raised concerns about the constant insults he receives from fellow industry players.
In a discussion on Onua Showtime on November 3, 2024, the ‘Jejereje’ hitmaker indicated that before he goes to bed each day he prays on how to control such negative criticisms.
“It takes experience to handle every situation. I think we shouldn’t condone the insults we sometimes receive from other industry players because God didn’t create us to be used to everything.
“When a colleague in the same industry constantly insults me, I pray for divine discernment on when to talk, when to keep quiet, and when to attack,” he said.
Stonebwoy added that he is one of the biggest artistes in the country, the reason he keeps receiving insults from a particular musician.
“This morning I even heard another dancehall artiste in the industry insulting me, but I know that because I am an A-list artiste that is why I keep receiving such insults,” he added.
