As the clock ticks towards the December 7, 2024 elections, all eyes are firmly fixed on the Dormaa West Constituency, a critical battlefield in the Bono Region.

Having seen the fortunes of the seat swing between the NPP and NDC in past elections, National Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, has taken on the responsibility of leading his party’s bid to reclaim the seat from the main opposition party.

Speaking at an outdoor gathering in Dormaa West, Stephen Ntim urged party leadership and followers to prioritize the party’s interests over anything else.

The national chairman encouraged the rank and file of the party to set aside personal interests and focus on working together to ensure that Ali Maiga, NPP’s parliamentary candidate, becomes the next MP for the constituency.

“It is important for all of us to work in unity and with one purpose. Our goal is to snatch the seat from the NDC and make Mahamudu Bawumia the next president of Ghana,” Ntim urged party supporters.

Against this backdrop, Ali Maiga expressed gratitude to his supporters for their unwavering loyalty and assistance throughout the year, urging them to wage a relentless campaign to restore hope for the constituents of Dormaa West.

Stephen Ntim and his entourage have been deeply engaged in a door-to-door campaign in the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions for some time now.

The National Chairman aims to record a landslide victory for the party in these regions, which would have a significant impact on the overall results of the elections.
