Alan Kyerematen, founder and leader of the Movement for Change and presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, has invited residents of Accra residents to join him in the upcoming Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk on Saturday, November 2.
The walk, starting at 6:00 a.m. from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, will move from the old PTC Building and SO Filling Station, concluding at Obra Spot.
Reflecting on the massive turnout and enthusiastic response during the Kumasi Walk, Alan stated, “Our supporters in Kumasi demonstrated unity, strength, and unwavering support for our mission to transform Ghana. Now, we’re bringing that same spirit to Accra, and I look forward to seeing the people of the capital join us in this journey of hope.”
However, in a press conference, Kyerematen alleged that individuals have circulated bulk text messages and misleading social media posts falsely claiming that the Victory Walk has been postponed.
“They did it prior to the Kumasi Walk and they are doing it again. I urge all Ghanaians in Accra to ignore such false information and join us as we walk together to showcase our movement’s unity, strength, and preparedness to lead Ghana toward a brighter future.”
With the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk, Alan Kyerematen aims to inspire solidarity among Ghanaians and to highlight his vision for transforming the Greater Accra region.
He remains confident that the support shown by hundreds of thousands in Kumasi will be matched in Accra, signalling a growing wave of national support.
