Now that it’s fully fall, the weather’s more fickle than ever. You might layer up to combat the chill when you leave home in the morning, only to find yourself second-guessing your outfit decision (and sweating) by lunchtime.
This is when a Bloomingdale’s stylist like Nancy (@qstylepr) comes in handy, because with their expertise, they can help you put together looks that are ideal for tricky transitional weather — so you can take on the elements in style.
Ahead, see how Nancy dressed me for a recent workweek when temperatures ranged from the 50s to the upper 70s.
MONDAY: Leather you like it or not
It’s not just sweater weather — it’s also leather weather! You can wear this Jason Wu dress all day at the office, and its sleek and stylish look transitions perfectly for a night out on the town. Nancy paired it with some ivory-colored Larroudé boots that had me channeling Ariana Grande (and feeling amazing).

TUESDAY: Red-y for love
I love the buttons on this Self-Portrait cardigan; if you look closely, they are shaped like hearts! We paired it with this white Fabiana Filippi midi skirt, which was long enough to keep my legs nice and warm. The cherry on top were these red Jeffrey Campbell pumps, which made the entire outfit pop.

WEDNESDAY: All about the Benjamins
Doesn’t it look like Benjamin Franklin’s face is splashed across the front of this Libertine shift dress (which you can contact Nancy to purchase)? At least that’s what I see — and I received countless compliments on the look. We layered it under this gorgeous 3.1 Phillip Lim moto jacket for warmth, and finished things off with ivory Larroudé boots.

THURSDAY: Euro vision
How “Emily in Paris” is this outfit? I fell in love with the print on the Alice + Olivia shift dress, which is definitely an attention grabber. The hot pink Cinq à Sept jacket complemented the mini perfectly, while the Larroudé boots rounded things out in show-stopping style. Someone pass me a croissant!

FRIDAY: Subtle sparkle
No necklaces are necessary when you’re wearing this Cinq à Sept jacket; the bedazzled neckline makes a major statement on its own! We went for a monochromatic moment with some faux leather Wolford pants, and topped the look off with these gorgeous black matte satin Jeffrey Campbell pumps that (literally) elevated the whole ensemble.
